Who We Are
The Dive Academy are an English owned and managed
PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre on the paradise
island of Koh Samui.
We have lived on the island since 2002 and opened
The Dive Academy in 2005 so we could share our love
of diving with others and to help other people start
a new life and live the fantastic lifestyle we enjoy
so much.

- PADI Master Instructor
Became a PADI Instructor in December 2002 and has
since taught all levels of PADI Courses, from introducing
8 year old children to the pleasures of diving with
the Bubblemaker Course, to training divers on the
first step as a Professional with the Divemaster Course.
Paul also assists with the training and development
of new Instructors on our Instructor Development Courses.

- PADI Assistant Instructor
Became a PADI Professional after completing the Divemaster
Course in 2004. Responsible for introducing hundreds
of people to diving for the first time, including
many who never dreamed they would be able to do it.
Sarah's enthusiasm has converted interested beginners
into avid divers and have given them the opportunity
to find out for themselves why she is so keen to to
get them to experience the underwater world for themselves.
Customer Service
At The Dive Academy we go out of our way to provide
the highest levels of customer service and professionalism.
We follow the strict training standards put in place
by PADI as well as sticking to our own high standards
of customer care - we know what we look for when we
go on diving holidays and this is what we aim to give
our customers.
We have arguably the best facilities of any dive
school on the island and our modern, air-conditioned
classrooms allow you to learn in a relaxed and comfortable
environment. We use up-to date PADI training materials
and our diving equipment is maintained and serviced
regularly.
We offer a full range of PADI Courses, from
Beginner
Courses all the way through to Professional. We
also offer Dive
Tours to the top Dive
Sites in the Gulf of Thailand. For non-divers
we offer Snorkeling
Tours to the best spots around Koh Samui.
The Dive Academy have experienced and friendly staff
who can teach all PADI
Courses, including Divemaster and the IDC, in
English and German. Your training will be to the highest
possible standard and will prepare you to be a model
professional.
If you would like help or advice with accomodation
just let us know and we can arrange somewhere for
you. We can advise on a number of different options,
ranging from good budget accomodation to 5 Star Luxury
Resorts, in the quiet or lively parts of the island,
whichever you prefer.
